Protein A, Protein G, Protein A/G and Protein L are immunoglobulin-binding proteins. Those proteins
are widely used in antibody purification and immunoprecipitation. However, their binding specificities
to different antibody classes are different BcMag™ Protein A magnetic beads, BcMag™ Protein G
magnetic beads, BcMag™ Protein A/G magnetic beads, and BcMag™ Protein L magnetic beads are 1
µm uniform superparamagnetic beads coated with high density ultrapure (>97%) Protein A, Protein G,
Protein A/G, and Protein L, respectively. They are also commonly used in cell sorting and
immunoprecipitation in addition to antibody purification from serum or cell culture medium.
